The Kleinmond Cycling Club (KCC) continues to position itself as one of the Overstrand's most active and community-focused sporting organisations, thanks to expanding trail networks, growing membership, and a renewed commitment to youth development. With Kleinmond's natural scenery and diverse terrain, the town has become a prime destination for mountain biking. KCC has played a central role in maintaining and improving these routes, investing significant volunteer hours and resources into ensuring have access to safe, enjoyable and well marked trails. The club's Bike Park - a favourite among families and new riders - has also seen steady upgrades throughout the year. A key priority for KCC has been the development of young cyclists. Through the Kleinmond Cycling Development Academy, local children receive structured skills training, guidance, and opportunities to grow in confidence both on and off the bike. This programme continues to attract new participants and has become a cornerstone of KCC's community outreach. The club's social side is equally strong. Regular group rides, events, and gatherings at the clubhouse have helped establish a welcoming culture that appeals to both recreational riders and more competitive cyclists.
